Employee volunteering is a great way to engage staff, enjoy some team building and really get stuck into practical tasks that support Dougie Mac.
Throughout the year we have various activities for single employees to large groups such as:
Host a donation drop off point and encourage your employees to donate items they no longer want. From clothing and toys to books and homeware, donated goods help us to raise more than £5 million each year.
It’s simple…We’ll supply you with donation bags for your employees to “bag” their unwanted items and a pop up box for them to “bring” and drop off their donation bags.
Every year, the Dougie Mac Lottery raises £1.5million to help fund our specialist care services; with a guaranteed £2,000 won each week!
Host a lottery promotion stand and our team will visit your workplace to chat to your employees about signing up to our lottery – win or lose, every £1 supports your local hospice!

By sponsoring an inpatient room at our Dougie Mac adult hospice site, you’ll be helping to bring expert, compassionate hospice care and comfort to people when they need it most.
Our inpatient rooms are spacious, comfortable, homely and well equipped with everything needed to provide our expert care.
We want you to enjoy, remember and be proud of your gift of sponsorship.
We currently have more than 20 patient rooms available to sponsor.
