Dougie Mac Shops

We have 20 charity shops across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. Thanks to you our local community, Dougie Mac retail contributes over £3 million of income each year to sustain the hospice’s specialist care services.

All of our shops are Covid secure including social distancing signage, hand sanitiser stations and till screens. We are continually reviewing our processes and operations to ensure all of our shops remain safe for our staff, volunteers and customers.

Donating to our Shops

Thank you for thinking of Dougie Mac, we are always in need of good quality donations especially clothing, accessories, homewares, electricals, collectables, books, toys and games.

We have been experiencing high volumes of donations and if you find your nearest shop are unable accept anymore donations for the day you choose, we will signpost you to your next nearest shop – the beauty of us having 20 shops means there is usually another shop not too far away.

We do politely ask you to be thoughtful when donating and ensure all your donations are in a good, clean, unbroken and sellable condition.  We really don’t like saying no to things, but there are some items we just can’t accept and also cost us money to dispose of.  Please see our handy guide on what we’d love to receive from you and what we can’t accept.
