Dougie Mac the first hospice in the UK to be recognised as an Investor in Excellence

Dougie Mac is to be congratulated on achieving recognition at ‘Greater’ on its journey to becoming a centre of excellence. It is a recognition of the quality of people from full-time to volunteers, who passionately believe in what Dougie Mac stands for and does.

Dougie Mac is a high quality, all-ages palliative and end of life care provider founded on a clear and strong values set of CARE. They are performing true to their values and consistency of purpose across all activities. This is a remarkable achievement when set against the backdrop of a global pandemic and at a time of the amalgamation of the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice into Dougie Mac. To sum this achievement up in one word – remarkable!

IiE Standard is the only truly holistic performance improvement framework globally.
