The benefits of fundraising in schools

By fundraising with us, your school will not only raise essential funds but also nurture compassionate, socially responsible citizens, promotes inclusivity, responsibility, and community engagement.

We are keen to integrate British Values into our assemblies and fundraising activities.

Educational Awareness

Introduction to Charity
Fundraising activities expose children to the concept of charity and community service. It’s an opportunity for teachers to discuss empathy, compassion and the importance of supporting those in need.
Real-Life Learning
Children gain practical knowledge about organising events, collecting donations and planning. These experiences enhance their organisational, communication and teamwork skills.

Emotional Wellbeing

Sense of Purpose
Engaging in fundraising fosters a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Children feel proud of contributing to a meaningful cause, positively impacting their emotional well-being.
Empathy and Compassion
Understanding the needs of hospice patients and their families cultivates empathy and compassion among children.

Community Connection

Local Engagement
Fundraising for Dougie Mac connects schools to their local community. It encourages children to actively participate in community initiatives.
Collective Responsibility
Children learn that their actions can make a difference. Supporting Dougie Mac reinforces the idea of collective responsibility and caring for others.
