A winning start to 2025 for raffle player Ashley

Dougie Mac supporter, Ashley Stanton, has started the New Year with a bang after scooping the £6,000 top prize in Dougie Mac’s New Year Raffle.

As a regular player of Dougie Mac’s Weekly Lottery, Ashley decided to also enter the New Year Raffle and couldn’t believe it when his lucky number was drawn out to win the first prize.

Ashley said, “My Uncle and Gran both received amazing care from Dougie Mac before they passed away and I’ve played the Lottery for a few years, but I’ve only ever won £10 before. So when I got the call to say that I’d won the first prize in the Raffle, I just couldn’t believe it.”

We’re so grateful to everyone who bought a ticket for our New Year Raffle, together they raised a huge £62,645 which will enable us to continue our care and support services for local adults, young adults, children and their families.”
