Dougie Mac achieves the Thrive at Work Foundation Level accreditation.

The accreditation is part of a workplace wellbeing programme that recognises organisations committed to employee health, mental wellbeing and a supportive working environment.

A spokesperson for the hospice said: “This is an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone across the hospice.

“We are proud of this achievement and what it represents: a shared commitment to creating a healthier, more supportive and positive place to work.”

The hospice will now begin working towards the next stage: Bronze Level accreditation. This will involve continuing to develop and embed wellbeing commitments, alongside using an action plan to make a positive impact for colleagues across the organisation.
