RHS and Heart of England in Bloom Recognise Dougie Mac’s Gardening Effort

Dougie Mac has been awarded an It’s Your Neighbourhood Certificate of Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society and Heart of England in Bloom in recognition for our effort in creating a peaceful outdoor space at the hospice. 

Well done to Gardening Coordinator Vicki Stephenson and our team of dedicated volunteers who work incredibly hard to maintain our beautiful gardens.

Our Britain in Bloom Assessor was delighted to visit the hospice, commenting:

“It is a beautiful, welcoming site with lots of well stocked borders with an interesting variety of shrubs and perennials providing year-round interest. The attractive, colourful mix of plants and the different places to sit and reflect are all making a difference to the well-being of your patients, their families and staff.”
